Repair  |  Remake  |  Recycle  |  Resale

Underpinning our sustainability ambitions is the concept of circularity - with our reVAELA programme we have the aim that no product will end up in landfill and will instead be either repaired, remade, recycled, or resold.

Repairs on all items can be arranged for a reasonable price, except where there are material or construction flaws - in which case the repairs will be free. Repairs will be carried out in batches so each repair may take a little time to turn around, depending on where we are in the cycle. Garment repairs are carried out by our partners Fabric Works, a social enterprise based in east London.

If a product cannot be repaired, customers have the option to have it returned or they can decide to leave it with us to remake it into something else, or recycle it if it's not possible to remake. Either way, customers have the option to replace the item at a discounted price.

If the garment is in a good state of repair, and a customer no longer wants it clogging up their wardrobe, we can assist with resale.

reVAELA is powered by our partners Tern Circular and customers can trade-in clean Vaela garments and accessories to our reVAELA programme via our Trade-in platform here. All trade-in garments and accessories are first be considered for resale.

In 2025, we will:

  • Launch our reVaela trade-in scheme
  • Launch preloved and sample sales
  • Set goals and KPIs
  • Track:
    • # products submitted for reVaela
    • £ reVaela programme
