You'll get faff-free, fee-free credit for every item. We get to reclaim our pre-loved products, resell them and extend their lifecycle. The planet gets a break.

FAQ

What can I trade-in?

All Vaela items are eligible for trade-in. We buyback items that are clean, regardless of age or where it was originally purchased.

What items don't you accept?

If your items are damaged, please feel free to send these back to us – if they can’t be repaired, we will repurpose or recycle them.

Do you accept items that are not Vaela?

We do not accept other brands.

What do you do with the product?

All items will be hand checked when received, and if possible, refurbished for resale. Any items that are not resellable will be repurposed or recycled through one of our partners.

What happens if I send my items, but they aren't accepted?

Items that don’t meet our trade-in standards/criteria will be repurposed or recycled. We will not issue trade-in credit for these items. If you would like it returned to you, this will be at your cost. Alternatively, we are happy to recycle or repurpose them on your behalf.

How much credit will I receive?

The credit you will receive is shown when placing your trade-in order. Buyback values vary based on product type.

When will I receive my credit?

We aim to process all trade-ins within 10 working days of receiving them. Once we’ve processed your trade-in, your credit will be issued immediately via email.

What can I use my credit on?

Your trade-in credit can only be used in a single transaction. Credits are valid for 12 months and cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or offers.

Which countries do you accept trade-ins from?

Trade-ins are currently only accepted within the UK.

How many items can I trade-in?

A maximum of 5 items are permitted per trade-in.

Who pays for postage?

Shipping is free. Once you've registered your items, you’ll receive a free tracked shipping label.
